McDonald Murphy Fuel Services are currently the Mobil Distributor
for the geographical area of Mackay, encompassing the regional centres
of Proserpine, Moranbah, Clermont, Sarina, Dysart, Carmila and St.
Lawrence.
McDonald Murphy Fuel Services started when Andrew McDonald and Peter
Murphy formed a partnership in December 1981 to lease a 24 hour service
station in Mackay. Both partners were previously employed in the
fuel distribution industry.
In January 1986 McDonald Murphy Pty Ltd commenced as Mobil Distributors
trading as "Local Fuel Services" following Mobil's previous
distributor's demise. The trading name has since changed to McDonald
Murphy Fuel Services.
We have established a strong retail network throughout the region
and claim to be the lowest cost marketer in the area.
